All Dogs and Cats are required to be registered under the Companion Animals Act 1998.
Process
The animals (dog/cat) will need to be taken to a Vet to have a Microchip implanted. The Vet will give the owner a form with all Microchipping details on it.
If the animal has been desexed, proof of desexing from the Vet will need to be provided.
The owner will then bring the Micochipping Certificate and proof of desexing (if applicable) to either the Mathoura or Moama Offices.
Payment will be made (as detailed below) and the animal will be registered on the NSW Companion Animals Register.
A lifetime registration certificate will then be forwarded to the owner.
